Social Proof At Bars
The bar is a great place to meet a lot of women. The approach in a bar is very similar to clubs except that you don’t have to talk as loud. Remember that your success with women in a bar has a lot to do with how popular and cool you are to the rest of the people in the bar. If she sees you standing in a corner by yourself drinking alone and looking self conscious she’s probably not going to react very well to you when you finally work up the courage after your twelfth beer to go and talk to her.
Here are some suggestions to increase your chances:
Create Social Proof:
- Bring as many of your cool friends as you can with you. This is automatic social proof and, besides you are there to have fun with your friends. If you happen to meet a girl along the way that is just a bonus.
- Quickly greet roughly 1/4 of the people if possible upon entering, even if you don’t know them i.e. “Hey, how are you doing?, cool I’ll talk to you later”. Even if the girl is of interest in you keep on moving and greeting.
- Once you are done doing this find a good spot where there is a lot of people passing by. This will give any girls who are interested in you a very easy excuse to come close by to you.
