Getting That Phone Number
In general, if the interaction with the woman is going well, you’ll find that getting a phone number is very easy. The trick to get a number is to make it “the next natural step” in your interaction. Using this technique there is absolutely no way that you won’t get a number. It’s been proven, tested and it works every time (Ok, almost every time).
Making a phone number inevitable
The way to get a 100% success rate at when getting a number is to communicate with the girl that you should both do something together in the future. This is sometimes called future projections, but in reality, you’re just setting up a future date while in the current interaction.
Something as simple as:
“Hey, I think you’d really like this restaurant, we should go together sometime”.
Once she’s on-board, and curious to go with you. The phone number will just follow as the next natural step.

Conversely, the only time asking for a phone number is awkward is when there is absolutely no basis for getting the number. If you’re just having a normal conversation, there might even be a little attraction, but then at the end you say: “Hey, can I get your number?” It comes out of the blue and your chances of success diminish.
