Finally, I’d avoid using the line: “So what’s your number?” Even though it works, it’s been used so many times by other guys that it really puts you in same category as all the other guys that have been trying to pick her up.

Instead, I’d recommend saying: “Hey, what’s the best way to stay in touch?” (Credit Adam) once you’ve set up a future date.
